Inspired by British terrace culture, Blondey McCoy reinterprets classic European sportswear through his modern and avant-garde lens. The iconic lines of the A.B. Gazelle Indoor and its unmistakable T-toe get infused with heavy gauge ripstop and TPU overlays. Blondey chose to customize the iconic Gazelle, even more, opting for the slightly translucent Indoor Super tooling in gum rubber to contrast the blue upper. The result is a sleek twist on a skateboarding staple, reimagined by Blondey.
DESIGN:
Classic European Sportswear through Blondey’s eyes – taking inspiration
terrace was a no-brainer for Blondey. With his love of Spezial to guide him, we took
this iconic shoe with its unmistakable T-Toe and made some subtle but impactful
twists to bring it into his world.
MATERIALS:
The upper is made of heavy gauge ripstop combined with a TPU T-Toe,
just like the Blondey Superstars. Instead of the classic Gazelle Indoor sole, Blondey
opted to build this model on another Classic terrace icon by using the Indoor Super
tooling as the base for this shoe. The shoes come with a nubuck eyestay and heel tab,
an Ortholite sockliner and feature the Trefoil printed on the heel tab and ‘Blondey’ on
the lateral.
